Back in January, Grace & I both came up with some goals
for the New Year. Now that the first quarter of the year is about to come to a
close (crazy how this year is flying!), I wanted to do a little update with how I've been doing.
Personal Goals
Exercise More: Well I didn't win the HGTV Dream Home!
But I still need to get into a bathing suit this summer and be comfortable in it. I've made some minor
strides in this area. Prior to 2013, I didn't work out at all. In the beginning
of the year I bought an elliptical and I've been using it for 20-30 minutes, 3
days a week. Hopefully by the end of the year I will be using it more often and on a higher resistance but for now, I’m happy with the improvement.

Eat Well: This so far has been a fail! I haven’t
really changed my eating habits. I did just take a cooking class so hopefully I’ll
start using my new skills in the kitchen!
Read More: Success! Since typing up my 2013 goals, I've read 6 new books -which is nothing compared to how much I read when I took the train to work but still better then I did in 2012. I was able to finish Anna Karenina (I thought it was long & boring), Let’s Pretend This Never
Happened (hilarious), Beautiful Creatures (ehh, just okay), and a bunch of others.

Blog Goals
Post once a week: Another success! Grace & I have
definitely been more consistent with our posting. We decided to try and post
every Monday, Wednesday, & Friday by trading off who does 2 posts each
week. We have plenty of new content coming, so keep checking back!
Remember to take finished product pictures: Eh.. I've slightly improved on this but I still need some work. Good thing it’s only the
first quarter and I still have time to improve!
Home (Apartment) Related
Work on Decor: Slowly but surely, my bedroom is
looking less college student like and more young adult. I've updated my book
case, purchased a new comforter, made some book ends, and hung up some new
items. Now I am on the hunt for a new affordable (i.e cheap) rug.

Get Organized: I cleaned out my closet a bit but it definitely
needs work. I need to start using some of the ideas I have pinned.
So there’s my update! In June I'll be back with another
update!
