Introduction and Etsy Review

Hi everyone - sorry for my absence, taking care of a newborn is a lot of work! And speaking of babies...let me introduce my son:

JJ arrived a bit late and not how I planned, but he is the most adorable little man and I couldn't be happier. He is over two weeks old now, and I am starting to get the hang of everything (but could always use a little more sleep!) 


Anyway, I also wanted to add a little review of his little pumpkin hat. I pinned this awhile ago - thinking he would arrive before Halloween:

How cute, right? Plus it is gender neutral so it would work for a boy or girl. I ordered it from ForStitchesSake and it arrived within a week. It was adorable and totally worth every penny. Then I waited. And waited. And waited to go into labor (which never really happened) so I could actually use it. When he finally arrived, it was a bit tight (I ordered the newborn size), but it easily stretched out and we had it on him almost the whole time in the hospital (the nursery nurses loved it too!). 


I hope to be able to participate in blog posts a little more often (I think Shannon is getting tired picking up the slack) - but it may be slow going. I hope to be able to get some Christmas crafts in though - stay tuned!
